Dr. Hongjun Wang has completed her PhD from China Agricultural University and postdoctoral studies at the University of Rome, “La Sapienza” and St. Jude Children’s Hospital. She was an instructor and Assistant Professor at the Harvard Medical School/Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center from 2001-2011. She is now a full Professor and the Scientific Director of the Center for Cellular Therapy, at the Medical University of South Carolina, USA. Dr. Wang has published more than 50 papers in reputed journals and has been serving as an editorial board member of repute.

SIMONE PACINI has completed his PhD in 1997. Until 2003 he was active in oncohematology and responsible of flow cytometry and cell sorting facility. Later, his studies focused on clinical use of MSCs and participated actively on isolation of a novel progenitor of MSC in adult human bone marrow. He is currently working in collaboration reputed Universities and Medical Colleges. Actually, he is lab director of the “Michele Cavalier Laboratories for Cell Therapy ” at University of Pisa. He has published more than 40 papers in reputed journals and he is editorial board member of the Frontiers in Cell Developmental Biology journal.

Farzin Farzaneh holds the Chair of Molecular Medicine at King’s College London. He has published over 250 research articles with an average citation of over 30, and an Impact Factor of 47. He has run a licensed GMP facility at King’s College London, since 2001, for the production of cell and gene therapy based investigational medicinal products. Farzin has extensive industrial and academic collaborations, including research council, charitable and pharmaceutical sponsorships of £25M. He has initiated a number of clinical trials in novel applications of gene therapy and holds MHRA licences (IMPs and “Specials"). He is a Qualified Person (QP) for release of cell and gene therapy products in UK and EU and an Individual Designate under a Human Tissue Authority licence that allows procurement, testing, processing, distribution and/or import/export of tissues and or cells intended for human applications. He is also appointed by the Commission on Human Medicines, as a member of the Clinical Trials, Biologicals & Vaccines Expert Advisory Group since 2016.

Jehad Zweiri, lecturer in Cancer studies at the University of Liverpool Medical School, born and grew up in Jordan and received his Bachelor’s degree from the University of Jordan in 1990. He obtained his master degree from London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine/University of London, and then obtained his PhD degree in 2000 from Kings College Medical School/University of London, in the field of Immune Gene Therapy of Cancer under the supervision of Professor Farzin Farzaneh. He then started his work as Postdoctoral Associate at the department of Immunology and Medicine at the University of Liverpool in 2002. In 2010 he was appointed as a lecturer in the university of Liverpool medical school and he is currently fellow of the British Higher Education Academy since 2012.

Sergey Suchkov received his MD from Astrakhan State Medical University. In 1985, he received his PhD from the I M Sechenov Moscow Medical Academy and in 2001, his Doctorship Degree at the Nat Institute of Immunology, Russia. From 1987 through 1989, he was a Senior Researcher, Koltzov Institute of Developmental Biology. From 1989 through 1995, he was a Head of the Lab of Clinical Immunology, Helmholtz Eye Research Institute in Moscow. From 1995 through 2004, he was the Chair of the Department of Clinical Immunology, Moscow Clinical Research Institute. He was an Exe Secretary-in-Chief of the Editorial Board of Biomedical Science, an international journal published jointly by the USSR Academy of Sciences and the Royal Society of Chemistry, UK. At present, he is a Chair at the Department for Personalized and Translational Medicine, I M Sechenov First Moscow State Medical University. He is a Member of the New York Academy of Sciences, USA; American Chemical Society (ACS), USA; American Heart Association (AHA), USA; EPMA (European Association for Predictive, Preventive and Personalized Medicine), Brussels, EU; ARVO (American Association for Research in Vision and Ophthalmology); ISER (International Society for Eye Research) and PMC (Personalized Medicine Coalition), Washington, USA.

Born in Rome the 7/12/1949, 5 children, held the medical degree at the University of Rome “La Sapienza” with full honour. VC is specialist in Clinical of Infectious Diseases (University of Rome) and in Hygiene and Public Health (University of Pisa), and PhD in Immunology (Brunnel University, England). His doctorate and post-doc experience have been carried out at the Clinical Research Centre in Harrow (England). He has been Assistant in Microbiology, and Associate professor in Immunology at the University of Pisa. Since 2000 to now, VC is Full Professor of Immunology and Director of the UNESCO Chair in Biotechnology at the University of Rome Tor Vergata. VC has been also President (2007-2010) of the Board of the National Institute for Infectious Diseases “Lazzaro Spallanzani” in Rome, Italy. He is consultants for several agencies of the United Nations (UNESCO, UNDP, OMS) and is scientific coordinator of several European and international Projects. VC has been Scientific Director and member of the Board of the International Reference Centre for AIDS “Chantal Biya” in Yaoundé, Cameroon and President of the University Spinoff Eurobiopark (European Group of Biotechnology at the Tior Vergata Science Park). VC published over 260 scientific publications on peer-review journals (Nature, Journal of Immunology, Infection and Immunity, Journal of Infectious Diseases, Immunology, Clinical Experimental Immunology, A, IDS, AIDS and Human Retrovirus Journal, etc.) in the sector of Microbial Immunology and Infectious Diseases, with special focus on AIDS and Tuberculosis.

She has published in reputed journals about genetics diseases, has taught at the Autonomous University of Guadalajara, where she is a research professor and member of the research committee, also has taught at the UNIVA University in master in clinical nutrition. Serves patients of genetic diseases, is voluntary in the association of patients "brothers with hemophilia" and is member of the national system of researchers.
