Born in Rome the 7/12/1949, 5 children, held the medical degree at the University of Rome “La Sapienza” with full honour. VC is specialist in Clinical of Infectious Diseases (University of Rome) and in Hygiene and Public Health (University of Pisa), and PhD in Immunology (Brunnel University, England). His doctorate and post-doc experience have been carried out at the Clinical Research Centre in Harrow (England). He has been Assistant in Microbiology, and Associate professor in Immunology at the University of Pisa. Since 2000 to now, VC is Full Professor of Immunology and Director of the UNESCO Chair in Biotechnology at the University of Rome Tor Vergata. VC has been also President (2007-2010) of the Board of the National Institute for Infectious Diseases “Lazzaro Spallanzani” in Rome, Italy. He is consultants for several agencies of the United Nations (UNESCO, UNDP, OMS) and is scientific coordinator of several European and international Projects. VC has been Scientific Director and member of the Board of the International Reference Centre for AIDS “Chantal Biya” in Yaoundé, Cameroon and President of the University Spinoff Eurobiopark (European Group of Biotechnology at the Tior Vergata Science Park). VC published over 260 scientific publications on peer-review journals (Nature, Journal of Immunology, Infection and Immunity, Journal of Infectious Diseases, Immunology, Clinical Experimental Immunology, A, IDS, AIDS and Human Retrovirus Journal, etc.) in the sector of Microbial Immunology and Infectious Diseases, with special focus on AIDS and Tuberculosis.

Dr. Yang is an Associate Professor in Department of Anatomy & Cell Biology, University of Pennsylvania, School of Dental Medicine. She received her MD (1994) and PhD (2000) in China. She then completed postdoctoral fellowships in bone biology at The Forsyth Institute & Harvard School of Dental Medicine and the University of Michigan School of Dentistry. She was appointed an assistant Professor in Department of Oral Biology, in State University of New York at Buffalo in 2008 and then became a tenured associate professor in 2014, She joined University of Pennsylvania in June 2016. She is an author of over 50 papers published in international journals including Nature Communication, Cell Death & Differentiation, Journal of Bone & Mineral Research, Human Molecular Genetics, a reviewer for numerous journals and editorial board of several journals. She and her lab members are the recipients of numerous research awards including Most outstanding abstract award for top one abstract in American Society of Bone and Mineral Research Annual Meeting, ASBMR-John Haddad Young investigator award, Young Investigator Award. Dr. Yang’s lab has pursued innovative research on the mechanisms of bone formation and resorption, including craniofacial and bone development, metabolism and mechanostransduction, and stem cell-mediated bone regeneration.

Professor Dr. Luisa Maria Arvide Cambra, Spanish is now Professor with Chair at the University of Almería (Spain). She also taught at the University of Granada, Spain. Thirty four years of teaching and researching experience. She is Director of Research Group HUM113-Estudios Filológicos from Program of Research of Andalusian Government, where she has managed and directed several academic and scientific contracts and research projects.She is author of a many works on several aspects of the Arabic science and literature in the Middle Ages, as well as Arabic language and linguistics. She has also participated in different prestigious international scientific conferences and visited many Universities and academic institutions in Europe, United States and Arab countries to teach and research.

James K.Williams have been at Wake Forest University for 30 years. During that time, his research focus has been women’s health. While now a faculty member of Regenerative Medicine, his past research focused on the use of animal models to explore the effects of aging and sex hormones on the cardiovascular and urogenital systems. When moving to the Wake Forest Institute for Regenerative Medicine (WFIRM), his focus remained on women’s health and was funded for 4 years and now funded for an additional 4 years to explore the utility of cell therapy for urinary incontinence – using nonhuman primates as the animal model.

Dr. Dayong Gao is a Professor of Mechanical Engineering and Adjunct Professor of Bioengineering at the University of Washington College of Engineering, Seattle, WA. He is an academician of Washington State Academy of Sciences. Prior to joining the University of Washington, he was a Professor of Mechanical Engineering and Biomedical Engineering at the University of Kentucky, where he was elected and honored as Endowed Alumni Professor and Baxter Healthcare Corp Chair in Engineering. Dr. Gao’s work has been recognized and supported through numerous awards and grants from research funding agencies, including National Institutes of Health (NIH), Department of Defense, National Science Foundation, National Cancer Society, American Heart Association, Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, Whitaker Foundation, Washington Research Foundation, and many industries. Supported by major grants from the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation and NIH, he currently serves as the Director and PI of an international consortium to investigate and develop optimal conditions and technology for cryopreservation of human mucosal immune cells and tissues for HIV vaccine and new drug/microbicide development and assessment.

Dr. Hongjun Wang has completed her PhD from China Agricultural University and postdoctoral studies at the University of Rome, “La Sapienza” and St. Jude Children’s Hospital. She was an instructor and Assistant Professor at the Harvard Medical School/Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center from 2001-2011. She is now a full Professor and the Scientific Director of the Center for Cellular Therapy, at the Medical Univeristy of South Carolina, USA. Dr. Wang has published more than 50 papers in reputed journals and has been serving as an editorial board member of repute.

Sergey Suchkov received his MD from Astrakhan State Medical University. In 1985, he received his PhD from the I M Sechenov Moscow Medical Academy and in 2001, his Doctorship Degree at the Nat Institute of Immunology, Russia. From 1987 through 1989, he was a Senior Researcher, Koltzov Institute of Developmental Biology. From 1989 through 1995, he was a Head of the Lab of Clinical Immunology, Helmholtz Eye Research Institute in Moscow. From 1995 through 2004, he was the Chair of the Department of Clinical Immunology, Moscow Clinical Research Institute. He was an Exe Secretary-in-Chief of the Editorial Board of Biomedical Science, an international journal published jointly by the USSR Academy of Sciences and the Royal Society of Chemistry, UK. At present, he is a Chair at the Department for Personalized and Translational Medicine, I M Sechenov First Moscow State Medical University.
